| Wavecontrol has adapted its WPT probe to the mobile telephone frequencies used in the United States so that it can be used to take measurements of the three mobile telephone bands used there. Interband exclusion outside those bands makes this version of the WPT the only one of its kind on the market. The following frequencies are measured: - GSM 850: 869 – 894 MHz
- GSM 1900: 1930 – 1990 MHz
- WCDMA: 2110 – 2155 MHz
In addition, Wavecontrol has obtained the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) accreditation needed for marketing its devices in the United States.
