The hardware is basically the portion corresponding to the remote monitoring equipment. It consists of an electromagnetic field reception and measurement block, a block where processing and averaging and data memorisation is performed, and a communication section that transmits the data to the control centre. In addition, the hardware is equipped with a programmable oversight system that sets off alarms if the field detected is stronger than the programmed upper limit. It also has other alarms warning of a low battery, open door, and so on. The system itself will advise the control centre if an alarm is set off.
