What do I need to do when I want to change the probe?

Nothing at all, since Wavecontrol devices are equipped with an automatic probe detection system, so that when you connect a different probe, the device recognises it and is then ready to measure again.

Probes use a “push-pull” type connector. These high quality connectors provide excellent reliability and ensure good contact between the probe and the measurement device.

To connect the probe, hold it anywhere on the tube, check that the red points on the connector and the measurement device are lined up, and then push the probe in.

To disconnect the probe, hold it by the metal connector and pull out. The probe cannot be removed by pulling on the plastic tube because that does not trigger the connector mechanism and it will not be released. If you pull too hard, you could break the probe.
